Inexpensive Sun Shade
« on: March 16, 2015, 01:41:06 pm »
I recently installed the Garmin Zumo 660 on my Trophy and was very happy with it except for one thing.  The screen seemed washed out in bright sunlight.  I looked at several sun shades on line but some of the reviews made me hesitant to buy them.  This past weekend I made my own sun shade and it came out fairly well.  I was out riding this morning at it worked very well.  There are still certain situations where the glare is bothersome, e.g., when the sun is directly in back of me.  I have attached a quick plan of how I made the sun shade.  I do have to thank my better half for the help with sewing the sun shade!

Cushman Motor Scooter, Yamaha 60, Suzuki 380, BMW R1200RT, Honda ST1300, Honda Goldwing, and finally a Triumph Trophy!
