Hi Bigtrevor,
Continuing the conversation here rather than by by PM, for the benefit of all ......
I gather from your PM that you're having difficulty with removing the Instrument Panel.
The Intrument Panel itself doesn't need to be fully removed from the bike,
but
once all of the screws are removed the iinstrument panel pack can be separated
from the front section of plastic through which the windscreen arms protrude,
by moving it towards the rear of the bike.
Those two sections of plastic do tend to click together, but should pull apart without any real force.
If they don't then there are probably some more screws that need removing !
( See the other topic for Photo's of the screws to remove -
I think there's just the 4 at the front and 4 at the back ).
With the instrument pack pulled away, there's no need to disconnect it,
you can proceed with dismantling the mounting plate where the bracket is to be fitted -
TIP - Take a Photo of it before disassembly, as it not too obvious how it goes back together !
Make sure you route the cable from your Sat Nav cradle through the Finisher part
of the Triumph Sat Nav bracket, as explained in the
fitting instructions - see image attached below.
Follow the usual advice of connecting the power to the dedicated power connector
( found against the wiring loom below the left hand mirror position ), and route the in-line fuseholder
into the back of the left hand mirror pod so it is accessible if ever the fuse needs to be changed.
Plug the Garmin audio socket onto the Trophy Audio Audio jack ( in the same place as the power conenction )
and tape it up to reduce the risk of it shaking loose.
Let us know if you get stuck with anything else !
