Radio?
« on: March 24, 2015, 12:38:38 pm »
Does anyone know the Make and Model of the radio being used on the Trophy, other than me pulling the little storage tray and look for a sticker on the unit?

Reason I ask is that if it is anything like some of the other bikes that I have had with radios, I can figure out the pin-out on the unit's main plug.  I believe there will be low in and out puts that just need to be pinned as it were on other units.

Thanks

I took the radio out of my U.K. Spec' 2012 TTSE recently - will never use it - I prefer the extra "On Bike" storage space..

Anyways here a pic' of the Label

The North American Spec bikes use something different...
1992 Trophy 900 MkI (aka My Lady Tracey)
1997 Trophy 900 MkII (aka My Lady Sharon)
2012 Trophy SE MkIII (aka Sophie)

Thanks for that, I found the manufacturer and placed a call to them to see if they can provide the pin out diagram for the radio, it is being made in the USA, Louisville KY. for all 3 types of radios available for the TTSE.  They also make the radios for Victory and Can-Am.

Forgive my ignorance, but what are you trying to do?  I'm still looking for a simple way to add an audio jack for ear buds without extra pieces and parts.

most bikes that comes with complete pinouts on the main connector going into the radio head unit, most only use what the manufacturer of the bike wants to use, I am asking the maker of the head unit for a pin out diagram that will allow me to verify what else is provided.  Then if its available I can add pins and wiring harness for headphone plug or low output for an amp and rear speakers etc. and or additional inputs that can be hardwired.

If you're looking for an audio input and output jack, I wonder if this would work into your USB.
