Just about to pull the trigger and do it
« on: April 07, 2015, 10:25:11 am »
Hi guys
just about to trade in my 2014 KTM 1190 Adventure R for a New Trophy SE just a quick question that my dealer don't seem to be able to answer

The stereo has Bluetooth, can I connect my Sena SMH10 to the stereo to listen to music in my lid rather than via the speakers and do the Phone and usb functions

apart from that I think im ready for the deal !!

Thanks Rob

Rob,   See the "radio" discussion in Sat Nav.... part of forum.  I was asking that very quesion and the responses have been great.   BTW, I traded in my 1050 Tiger (which I loved) for the TTSE.  You won't be sorry.  Pull that trigger dude.

The answer to your question should be yes. The text below was taken from Sena web site and your headsets specification.

The SMH10 is compliant with the Bluetooth Specification v2.1 supporting the following profiles: Headset Profile, Hands-Free Profile (HFP), Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP), and Audio Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP). Please check with the manufacturers of other devices to determine their compatibility with this headset.

Hope this helps.

My wife and I use our Senas for intercom, phone, and music, all with Bluetooth so I would have to say yes.

I used smh5 now smh10 so the answer is definitely yes As others have said.  The only issue is that you do not use the volume on the handlebars when using bluetooth but use the SMH10 volume control.  I use mine for rider to pillion (or more like pillion to rider  :156: ), listening to Ipod or radio from the inbuilt radio, Sta nav 660 plumbed in via the radio and even bike to bike via the SM10.

I actually use the earbud version and the pillion the in helmet speakers.

Enjoy
