Panniers
« on: April 09, 2015, 07:38:58 pm »
HI

Just back from a tour of western France.  Panniers heavily scuffed from boot heels, mostly trace off the boots rather than scratching the boxes.   Can anyone suggest the best product to get the scuff marks out?  I have T Cut but not sure it's necessary

thanks

Hi, wouldnt use anything even mildly abrasive on the laquer coat finish, try using just wax a soft cloth and elbow grease to clean the marks out.

I'm going to try WD40 first, its great for cleaning white boards....  When I have failed then I'll try the white spirit..
