Bulldog Triumph Winnersh .. Top Class Experience
« on: April 24, 2015, 05:10:18 pm »

Hello Folks ..

So I'm relatively knew to my lovely TTSE .. her name is Trixie lol .. Anyways the reason I jumped on here was to give a big  :028: to Bulldog Triumph .. I've been down there twice now, once to buy some engine bars which he said he'd fit for free when comes back for service, got a free t-shirt from that trip and secondly down today with an engine management light on .. The service fella there took my keys and away he went and did the diagnostic thingy, this bearing in mind I didn't make an appointment and just turned up on the off chance .. Came back, no problem mate, just a relay for the headlight, we've reset it but if it does it again and we'll change it for nought .. no charge for looking he says .. Brilliant, this in comparison to a dealer closer to my house who said nah mate, we can't just look at it, you'll have to book it in and it'll be 1/2 hr labour .. Hmm .. guess who I'll be taking her back too ..

So .. the disclaimer, I don't work for these guys, I didn't even buy the bike from them .. You hear so many horror stories about the "stealers" thought it'd be good for us all to know that there is a few good ones out there .. oh and the service I needed was 50 quid cheaper too .. nuff said

Ces :028:

Hi Ces and welcome to the forum! :400: great to hear about a dealership giving good service and we all like to share that info.

There is another channel for new members off the main forum thread listing toward the top of the list to introduce themselves and tell us more about their ride history and such. You might want to stop by there and say hello too!

I wonder if your closer dealer is the one I don't go to any more?  North of you?  Because all I ever got was excuses and bs..

Hi Trixies Dad,

Good to hear of the good service, and thanks for sharing  :047:

It's very easy to complain about things these days,
yet many are not as eager to share when the compliments are due  :028:

Cheers  :821:

Thanks for the information on a great sounding dealer.

I'm getting that sort of experience from Triumph North East in Newcastle, so far a happy camper.

Later

Dave

Dave

I agree Coconut, too many people quick to complain .. So i thought I'd reverse the status quo .. As it happens I'll be back down there on Monday .. the relay for the headlight has quit altogether now .. no bloody headlight. Come on Trixie, play nice ..  :138:
