Sarcastic thank you to the NC driver who ran the stop sign

I'd like to offer a sarcastic thank you to the North Carolina driver who ran a stop sign and almost hit my bike causing me to go down. Despite being on a steep incline I managed to lay it down relatively gently but it still broke the turn signal lens and scratch the fairing  all up as well as pannier. It was so good of you to stop about 1000 feet from where I went down wait for me to get the bike back up on its side stand and then drive off without giving me your plate number or were offering to help. I can't tell you how much it made my day.  Thank  you :233:

Damn!  Better paint & plastic than flesh & bones, I guess.  Anyway, good to hear you're all right.

Sorry to hear of the near miss and drop, but glad you're okay!
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.

Thanks guys.  Least the driver could have done us to get out of car and help me get the bike on side stand. Fully loaded that thing must weigh over 800 pounds. I'm not as young as I used to be :012:

probably one of our imports from other states. The drivers around here have started to become more and more worthless by the day!

Shame they didn't stop to help out... I certainly would have helped out!.... had an experience when I had a lowside on a new rear tire, leg trapped under the bike in the middle of the road - a driver in a pickup swerved over - blocked the lane to keep me safe, helped me get the bike up. (ankle was broken, but I didn't know it at that point). but then again, he didn't run a stop sign ;)

glad you're ok ... and sorry we didn't send one of the better NC drivers out there
