Just bought a 2014 trophy. 3000 miles on clock.
Any tips on potential problems?, what to keep a check on? Reliability? Always owned honda so a bit new to me!
Any advice would be appreciated please.

HI and welcome to the forum.   :400:

Only problem with the Trophy is picking it up when you drop it   -   :087:

But seriously, not too many problems these days.  I have had the brake discs and TPMS sensors replaced under warranty (vibration and low battery error)

regards

Hi there and welcome :400:

You will find the Trophy a great bike.

Early models, as you would expect, had a few minor teething troubles, all of which have been resolved by Triumph and appropriate recalls and updates done. If you have bought from a dealership then you shouldn't have to worry that any have been missed.

Most of us would buy another one tomorrow if anything happened to our bikes and there are a few owners on here already with very high mileage bikes which by and large have been great for them.
Triumph Trophy! Not for every Tomaz, Dieter or Herman!🇬🇧

Welcome and congratulations!

I think the 2014 model may have some of the kinks worked out that were problems in earlier models.  That's just an overall impression I'm getting from reading the posts on this forum.  Seems like the earlier recalls and issues were with the 2012 and 2013 models.  Still it wouldn't hurt to ask your dealer if you have any concerns.  One recurring issue that keeps popping up on here is with battery drain.  If I understand correctly it has been sorted out to be an older version of the radio software.  Not real sure about that though cause I've had no issues with this bike at all.  (Other than an incomplete top box installation.)
You could try a search for the battery drain topic or just scan the Electrical subforum.

Welcome! Mine has only had the Ecuador replaced. Other than that, no issues in 71,000kms other than tyres wear out and brake pads at 50,000kms or so ( I am not at home so can't check). OEM headlight bulbs even lasted more than 50,000kms
