no more dual purpose(allroad) bikes...
« on: May 17, 2015, 02:32:51 pm »
Hi,

mij name is Ruud, 43 years old, living in the center of the Netherlands.

After six all road bikes(Transalp, Varadero, 3X 1150 GS,  and F800gs) which I tried to turn into good long distance touring bikes I got smart :034:

Why not just buy a real touring bike to start with? So I did and now I'm wondering why I didn't do this 4 bikes ago. What a great bike :046:

Only thing I need now as I'm 199 cm tall is the bigger OEM screen and, more importantly, lowered footpegs.

:400: to the forum.  There are some discussions here about lowering the footrests and different screens that may be of interest to you.

Isn't it time to start communicating in Dutch on this list because of the growing number of Dutchmen and Belgians here?  :001:
