Hi,I took my glove box off to reattach  the USB lead and when I went to put it back together I lost the clip that the bolt attaches to,it is the one furthest  from the handlebars.I did try looking for it but gave up as I needed to get out on the bike and  Mrs. Bob was getting restless.I can see the bolt on World of Triumph site but not the clip, any idea where I can get one, thank you,Bob.ps I did start taking the fairing apart but I am not too great at putting things back together,it is or was in there somewhere.

Hi Bob, I would just ask your dealership next time you are in. It is probably the kind of consumable they are losing or breaking all the time. Sure they will have some spare or be able to get you some.

They most likely have bin boxes with multiple fasteners for all the brands they sell in the service bay.  My experience is they will likely just give you one no charge if you mention that it was dropped into the plastic abyss and never seen again.  Auto parts there may have them as well.  My bet is if you look at the one on the battery cover side it may be the same threaded spring clip type fastener so you could show that to a sales counter person and they may match it for you.  Here, not so much since it's metric.  Lucky you.

Yup…I did the same thing. Spent hours taking the bike apart and crawling around on the garage floor. Never did find it. Dealer didn’t have one. Took three weeks. Sorry, don't have the part number but dealer did.

Good luck, you are not alone.

    Hi Bobbya,

There are two clips that the Glove Box is secured to.

If it's the one on the oitsidd of the Hloive Box, then I think you'll find it's this one :
    Item 13 : PFKL2304551 - Captive Boss M5, £3.48

If it's the one that the screw inside the Glove box attaches to
    then I think it's Part No. PFKL2070100 - Nut, Captive M5, £1.70.

Note that the Part numbers are World of Triumph's Part Numbers,
which are not ( usually ) the same as Triumph's own numbers.

    Cheers  :821:
