Hmmm.... Lets see

Bugatti Veyron = curb weight    1,888 kg (4,162 lb) with claimed 1200 HP roughly power to weight = 3.48lb to 1hp
Kawasaki H2R = Curb Weight 177.6 kg  (476.3 lb) with claimed 300 HP roughly power to weight = 1.56 lb to 1 hp

I suspect the torque numbers are also in the bike's favor.

So roughly double the power to weight ratio of the Bugatti, much less overall aerodynamic drag simply due to cross sectional area difference and rolling drag of the tire surface area of 4 wheels vs 2 plus larger tires makes it no comparison.  Provided one has the sand in their crawl to roll the throttle with no harness, roll bar, and other cager safety features to help build confidence.

Super cool video still w8d4it....

Seems the Bugatti has gone up in price.  The H2R is only somewhere between 1/40 and 1/48 the price of the Bugatti.  Of course that doesn't change the fact the H2R is $50,000 so sure go ahead and buy two.

Isn't the Veyron vs H2R a largely pointless exercise as the bike is not road legal and one dealer told be it's too loud for most uk race tracks so apart from that test the 2 are unlikely to meet.

I suppose you could say that but on the other hand you could say that about any contest involving speeds of 200MPH :008:
