Transferring warranty to new owner
« on: June 14, 2015, 04:58:31 pm »
Does anyone know what is involved in transferring the remaining warranty to a new owner?  My warranty book that came with the bike mentioned a "change of ownership form" but I couldn't find it.  Is there a cost involved?  Does the seller have to fill out anything?

Thanks

As far as I am aware it's the Motorcycle that is covered by the original 2 year warranty, not the owner,
so it should be covered during that period whoever owns it, but it does make sense to have your details
recorded by Triumph so that they can contact you should any ( further ) Recalls be necessary.

Your Dealer should be able to get you registered, otherwise, just write to Triumph
using the Contact details for your Country on the Triumph web site  :028:

Just go to the local dealer and they can change the name and address in the computer.  That way you will receive notice of any future recalls.

Roger that. I am the seller so I will tell the buyer to go to the dealer.

Thanks
