Recognise this?
« on: June 19, 2015, 03:35:06 pm »
I found this hard rubber stopper under my TTSE, anyone recognise if it belongs attached to my TTSE anywhere?

One of the rubber isolation blocks fitted to the rider seat pan?

Had your seat off?  Might be a seat cushion???  From the rear of the driver's seat???? On my TTSE you have to push the seat down fairly forcefully to get the rear cushions in the slot waiting for them, expect they could be dislodged accidentally...

You may want to apply a touch of glue when reinstalling.

Do you have a top box fitted? When you take your top box off you should have a rubber protector that slots into the electrical hot shoe.
The picture looks like that.

I can confirm that is part of the rider seat, had the same issue. To the point I lost mine and had to have the seat replaced as it became damaged around plastic mould that the rubber fits.

If you notice the seat not fit back or loose then it could be that the rubber mount has come away again.

Seadog,

It's certainly not the Sliding Carriage Rubber Cover......which at £33.47 must be made from Unicorn droppings....

Don't whatever you do lose that one !
