     Local motors officer lost to an inattentive driver.  I worked with his wife years ago at the police station; and knew officer Kennedy a little.  I remember him to be a very nice guy.

      Sad day. 

      Be safe out there.

    Just goes to prove that even the most experienced of us can't cater for the cruel hand of fate and ignorance.

    He sounds like a huge loss to the force with many years experience gone.

    It's not the motorcycle that is dangerous.  It's the car drivers.  Even the best riders can't compensate for car driver stupidity.  The comment that it will likely result in only a citation is particularly sad.

    A sad and tragic  loss,  thoughts also with his family and friends and those that knew him from a UK fellow Officer.
