First 5000 miles

Well after the the first 5000 miles on my new trophy I have to say I'm vary happy with the bike. Performance WOW!!! Handles great for a big bike and have not had one problem. Wish the handle bar controls we're backlit and the seat was a little more comfey on long rides but that's just me overall it's an amazing motorcycle

I'm getting there.  Ditto on the backlit controls.  I miss that on the GoldWing I traded but the handling of this bike was well worth the trade.

I just rolled over 1k on my new '13 TTSE, and I can't get over how awesome it is. It's not perfect, but I'm with you, Tom, the performance is WOW -- no matter the speed or gear, she's ready for me to roll it on and with no hesitation she flies. It's ridiculous how easy it is to go fast; interstate riding is no longer a chore for me but a pleasure. It truly is an amazing motorcycle.

Congratulations on the trouble free miles.  Glad you've enjoyed the bike.  I wish you many more trouble fee miles.

Yes.... thanks for that. It is all too easy for a forum to become a negative zone of gripes and grumbles. But this is the kind of message we need to give out about what a great bike the Trophy is. Not perfect in every area, but damned good especially as this is the mark 1 (of this version of the Trophy).

With our genuine rider feedback it will only get better with each iteration and I am sure someone in Triumph will be monitoring this kind of place.
