Wow!!! Thinking we will be in Hereford in October/November this year to see my wife's elderly relatives again (maybe the last time we get to enjoy their company).  Hopefully we can come up Worcester way one afternoon to buy  Coconut and his better half a pint or whatever suits them!  Love coming to the UK.  Always good times and friendly people!

I have just heard:

• There are 376 bikes currently registered - 63 more than the current record
• Registration closes 15th July and registration is essential for participation

In the most recent email from the organizers the registered bike total now sits at 484

There is a request for more marshals; if anyone is able to help - PM me and I will pass on the details

Mr TicketyBoo and myself were there yesterday .. it certainly was a fantastic sight.  We saw about half a dozen Trophies so perhaps we saw you too ?  We were the black one ! 

I believe that although 484 were registered not everyone turned up but it should still hopefully beat the record, but Guinness Book of Records are very stringent so all the footage has to be checked to make sure spacing etc was correct so it'll be a couple of weeks before the result is in

Glad you made it

The spacing aspect worried/worries me as there was a couple on a Sprint just in front of me at the start who held back several bike lengths

Later on they were on the left so I pulled up alongside to help preserve the required gap but they ended up several lengths behind me then!!

I could only think they had not read the briefing- there are always some!!

My Trophy was the silver one with the Union Jack images on the panniers etc. I met up with sin_tiger there too so the forum was represented fairly well

Ha !!  In that case I saw you as we all parked in the car park at the end .. I pointed out to my other half that I liked the Union Jacks.  What a shame I haven't logged on here for a while we could have met up with you
