    10,000 mile service feedback

    Hi everyone,

Taking my 2014 TTSE in for 10K service soon and just looking for a little feedback from fellow owners on what you paid (in $) for the work and what work was done. Anything other than the items listed in the owner's manual? Any specific issues that have arisen that I should address? I have a great mechanic (with mediocre service dept) that will go above and beyond if i request it.

Any info would be greatly appreciated! :046:

    Ride safe(and fast) :017:

    Thanks

I think I paid a couple hundred dollars for it, the 10K service isn't much.

Good to hear you have a good man on the wrenches for you. One of the things I request of my dealer / shop is that I have only 1 tech work on my bike [best tech]. You may want to request that if you have not had that set-up already

My 500 miles service is costing $60.  I'm sure my 10,000 will be about the same.

If the 10,000 is done according to Triumph spec the air filter re is supposed to be replaced (even though I have yet to hear of a single filter being dirty enough to warrant replacement). If the dealer accesses the filter much of the bodywork has to come off and that time gets costly.

My filter required changing at 10k. The bike runs noticeably better now as a result.

ok.  Add the cost of an air filter to that.
