Help from N-com Bluetooth users
« on: July 22, 2015, 03:12:03 pm »
Good morning folks!  I tried searching this to no avail.  My bride and I have Nolan 104's.  Looking on the N-com website, it looks inferred that for us to talk to one another, we have to have to go through a couple of steps vs. having a VOX set-up.  Is that true?

Thanks for everyone's advice,

Wesley

You need to pair your headset with the Trophy as device 1, then pair your helmets together. You will need to update the software on your units via the pc. I have a B5 unit and now I have updated software, works really well. hope that helps?

Thanks Glen!  I just wanted to make sure that we would be able to talk to to each other.  Will she be able to link to the bike as well so we could share music sources?  My set up would be ipod USB'd to the bike, then our two headsets. No phone....

I'm trying to sort out if any of the N-com products will work like this before purchasing them.

Thanks again everyone,

Hi Wesley, not sure but think it's possible as her helmet will be linked to yours.

Folks, anyone out there have a similar set-up to confirm?  I'm getting ready to purchase a B4 set, just want to make sure this would work.  If not, I'll head down the Sena or Scala route.

I'd like to stay with a product designed to fit in the N104 helmets if at all possible.

Thanks for any advice,

Wesley

I had the B4 "Plus" ( B4's can be updated to B4 plus for free - with a Firmware download ),
which was fitted in my Nolan N104, and worked very well with the Trophy audio system.

I don' have that kit any more, but I know there are other Forum members that do  :028:

Thanks Coconut!  Now I have to ask, why not now and what did you replace it with?

Thanks everyone!

"Not now" because I bounced and scraped the side of my N-104 along the tarmac,
and at the end of it the B4 "Plus" had been converted to a B4 Minus !  :087:

I haven't replaced the Helmet, the Bluetooth kit, or the Trophy ( yet  ) !

Cheers  :401:
