Seeking WOTL on "press to talk" bar switch
« on: July 25, 2015, 04:46:19 pm »
Good day and thanks for your help. I am about to mount my J&M handlebar CB and am looking for recommendations on where I can source a handlebar mount "press to talk switch". Advice from anyone with a working solution / recommendation? I'd appreciate it much. [I have googled press to talk switches and find solutions from $20 - $150+ so I am looking for assistance from someone with a working solution they recommend]

Thanks

Studley

mine goes on the grip right towards the middle it just has a tye wrap type band that you can tighten up on the rubber.  It can slip round if not tight enough but I can stop it turning with the index finger and press with the thumb or even turn it round and use the index finger to press.  Got mine from Autocom.  I have a momentary ptt and a swtiched one.  Have to be careful with the switched one so as not to leave it transmitting.
