Question on Worm Gear Lubricant
« on: July 31, 2015, 10:06:00 pm »
I'm in there now so I figure I might as well tick the box while I'm there. [Service stuff I know for SURE has happened] No prejudice expressed or implied. :>)

I think the number of responses will be few so I won't go the survey route but please, offer your coaching if you have experience or, a viewpoint.

Thanks

Studley

Hate to display my ignorance but where is the worm gear in the Trophy?  Only possible I can think of might be the windscreen but that is just conjecture. I've not pulled covers to look

You are correct sir. I have not heard of this being an issue with the TTSE but, I know moving windscreens on some other models enjoy a little lube to save on drive motor fatigue / fail.
