I do not know if any of you it has happened what happened to me two days ago:

Light (fault in the engine management system) control always sets this light comes on. I walk a few kilometers and light (traction control) lights latter to stop the bike off and back on and say to make few kilometers. When this happens not work the cruise control and no marker in gear, it is showing the last march wearing, if I stop at a stop sign or traffic light marker shows up numero1 and no longer moves from there to stop again the motorcycle.

See if anyone can answer about this, thanks.

The Trophy now has about 12,000 kilometers and the end of 2012.

A greeting

Possibly a sensor, but which may not exactly be. Luinosos by witnesses is very similar to the TPS sensor but I do not see clear is that in the instrument panel marker meshed gears are not working.

Hi digital,

This does appear to be a Gear Position Sensor problem, which other Trophy Owners have also had.

Can you change through the gears OK, and it is only the Gear Indication display that does not work ?

Sometiimes the Engine Management and Traction Control warning lights come on
when there is, or when there has been a low voltage problem,
so the first thing to do is check the battery connections are good, clean and tight.

Then you can check if there are any Diagnostic Trouble Codes ( DTC's ) that have been stored.

There is an article here about how to display these codes on the Instrument Panel,
with a Word document atttached at the end of the article, explaining what the different codes mean :
Servicing Data and Reference Information

Let us know hat codes, if any, are displayed on your Trophy.

Any suggestions?

That is what I thought -

You will need to go to your Dealer and get them to follow the Diagnostics procedure
for checking the wiring to the Gear Position Sensor,
and / or replacing the Gear Position Sensor ( if the Sensor is faulty ).

If your Trophy is less than 2 years old this will be covered under Warranty.
