TomTom sat nav mounts
« on: August 19, 2015, 09:11:37 pm »
Hi everyone, I have taken delivery of a 2014 trophy and I was wondering which was the best sat nav mount to get?
1. The mount that sits on top of the dash
2. The handle bar ball mount.
Has anyone used either or can recommend the best way forward.
Thanks in advance
Ian

Hi One Way  and :400: to the Forum !

There are plenty of Posts, comments and reviews on the various Mounting options,
just have a Browse through the Audio, Sat Nav, and Intercom Section to find them,
or have a Play with the "SEARCH" button that you will find up there on the Main Menu Bar.

You might also want to think about posting an introduction in the New Members Section  :028:

Cheers  :821:

The Triumph Sat Nav Mounting is just the perfect position for my TomTom Rider Urban....

Power Supply through a USB Adaptor to the Aux Power Socket in the Glove Box. Slightly part the fascia to get the cable tucked out of the way and that's it...simples

:400: to the forum.  My Tom Tom is not mounted in the Triumph mount position above the dash, but it would definitely be more visible there.  I think the consensus here it that the Trophy factory mount position is the best place for a GPS.

Hi One Way,  welcome to the Club,   :821:   as mentioned,   the factory centre mount position is best, there is some good fitting instructions on this forum to self install if you want to give it a try.......  :028:
