Hondas that want to race.

Has anyone else had the experience of a Honda Shadow rider wanting to race? Twice now I've had the pleasure of experiencing said phenomena. Had to laugh at the first Shadow guy, because when he finally caught up to me at the next light, he looked back and forth real hard at my bike then smiled and said, "Oh it's a Triumph! That's why!" The second guy never caught up to me. In both cases, I gave no indication that I would like to be involved in such shenanigans. I'm not really inclined to race anyone, nor do I go out looking for it, but I do like a challenge!

I've never thought of the Trophy as a race bike.

The TTSE is not a race bike, but then again, neither is a Honda Shadow!

.... and think to yourself, "They're racing to be first in line at the nearest Casualty Department" !

Remember, it isn't Speed that kills - but stopping very abruptly from speed,
and especially from contact with a solid object often DOES !

The best definition I've come across of typical Harley riders is as follows: " A group of rugged individualist, all dressed alike."
