Heated riders seat and Touring windshield for sale
« on: August 31, 2015, 05:44:10 pm »
I have a heated tall seat and touring windshield for sale. Seat does come with the switch and wiring for $150 plus shipping. The tour windshield is $100 plus shipping. Both had been on the bike for about 6 months, but now I need them out of my garage before they get damaged. Message me here or send me an email to opyles@yahoo.com if interested.

Atvtinker;
I am interested in the windshield.
Can you tell me some more about it? Make, height, width?
I'm looking for a taller windshield than the stock height.

I know its already SOLD, but could you (or anyone) comment on the comfort of heated seats.  I'm still on the fence for a more comfortable rider's seat my TTSE.  If anything, I think an even lower "low" rider's seat regardless of whether heated or not would be desired.

I'm 5'-11" and 260 lbs, and the lower stock seat puts me at an acceptable height, but about a 1/2" to 3/4" even lower with more padding , plus heater, might suit me better.

Comments please?

I'm 6' and 190lbs and to me the tall seat has more padding which makes it more cushy but it also made it wider across the front of the seat which I didn't care for. I found myself trying to squeeze the seat trying to get a better hold on the bike when riding at a more spirited pace. If your just sitting on the bike and just touring it would be fine and the heated feature is really nice.

 gregmains, The windshield I have is the factory tour windshield. It's the same one listed on the Triumph website. I was really surprised at the difference between the 2 shields. I had yet to be in a rain storm with it and get hardly any rain on me during a ride. But it can be a double edged sword. During this summer l couldn't ride with it up hardly any at all because it blocked the wind so good. I ride with a Shoei Neotec helmet so you need air with this helmet. And it wasn't so much as the frontal wind but the air that you would normally get around your upper torso and shoulders. It puts you in a cocoon of no air. Hope this helps.

Thanks.  I'll check the Triumph website to learn more about dimensions.  I'll let you know, avtinker.
