Whilst this not good news for Triumph, maybe it will become good news for Triumph owners in general,
as Triumph will have to improve it's performance or face the legal consequences.

Good News for Trophy owners as that the article does NOT refer to the Trophy model  :028:

I'm not sure that necessarily follows.  Triumph had already issued the recalls in the UK and Canada.  This fine really seems to be more of NHTSA getting its "pound of flesh because the US recalls were not as timely as those in the UK and Canada.  So as I see it Triumph had already discovered the safety issue and found a solution.  They simply need to get their administrative act together on a global scale.

I would agree if it were just a few months late, but being a year and a half after the two previous recalls in the U.K and Canada on the same issue, I don't see it as an timely administrative issue.

Well we are certainly entitled to disagree but given that it was the same issue I don't see what else it could be.  It isn't like Triumph discovered new safety issues
