That is a great deal even if it were a reconditioned unit (and it says it is brand new)

Thanks for that azgman.  Does anyone else have a comment?  As valuable as azgman's comment is I'd hate to buy based on just one comment.

The Zumo 660 was what was used on the first model year of the BMW K1600 and what I had on mine.  It was subsequently replaced with the 665, which I don't think is a big step up.  The 660 on mine cost $800 at the beemer shop, but I didn't buy it there and saved a little bit of money.  This is a really good price for a good unit.  Be forewarned, it will store the top speed and it can be found in the menus if you go looking for it.  I would guess some law enforcement is aware of that.

Thanks for that trophied.  BTW assuming NAV would be treated in the same manner as a cellphone a LEO would have to get a warrant to access the info on your NAV.

I too think that is a great deal for the Zumo 660LM, almost half off the price it was selling for last year. Garmin might be discontinuing that model soon and bringing on a new one as other retailers have also lowered the price, not that much though. Garmin still has it at $600 on their website. That's what Garmin did a couple of years ago with the Zumo 350LM, I purchased it when it went to half off just before it was discontinued. Prior to that I was looking at the 660 but was having a hard time justifying the price of $700 at the time. Being discontinued hasn't been a problem as they both have lifetime map updates and they still service my 350 as I had to send it in when I broke it last month.

Hope you guys are right.  I just ordered one.  Now I will just have to figure out how to wire it so I can easily transfer it between my Sprint and my Trophy.  If anyone already knows I'd appreciate some directions.

That was a quick decision!  I was going to say its only a good deal if you actually want one.  I never leave home without GPS, even have a Garmin810 on my pedal cycle.  I have owned a 660 since they first came out and love it.

You will be best getting an extra mounting kit if you have two bikes and like them to look neat.  You could use the RAM stuff and have wires running to power and only one mounting kit but when it is wired correctly on the TTSE it is very neat and works great integrating with the bikes audio system and for me voice prompts come through my Bluetooth equipped helmet.

If you have not owned bike GPS before then you will wonder how you ever got anywhere without it!
