good news. been away for work [7 weeks] expected a dead battery and just for the fun checked voltage it was still 12.5 volts and the bike started right up. bad news.after pushing the bike out of my shop there's a oil puddle on the floor oil all over the right bottom side. bike is now at the dealer being worked on,and yes i did a search regarding oil leak's. will do an update as soon as hear anything from the dealer

Not good to hear. Hopefully it will just be something minor. Mine had a right side oil leak a few months back and it was just loose bolts on the lower right side cover. Snugged them all up with about a 1/4 turn and no more leak.

Yeah, I would rather have had a dead battery.

Yet another vote for loose bolts.  Mine did exactly the same thing.  Dealer replaced the gasket as a precaution but the real culprit was loose bolts.

+1 on the right side engine bolts need tightening, happened to me so an easy fix; here is hoping.

    Later
