Tire wear left side

 :187:front and rear tires wearing(cupping) on left side4,500 miles. Triumph says Florida roads will do that. Been riding fla roads for over 40 years all type of cycles. Never had wear like this. Fla dealer has at least 100 different used cycles, I looked at each one and none has the type of wear as mine. Dealer and I checked tire pressures tight cables, steering bearing etc everything normal. Bags have equal weight. Any one else have this problem. 2014 ttse

I know you said no other bikes at the dealer had that problem but Google "what causes left side tire wear on a motorcycle"  and you will find you are not alone.

On my ST I don't have cupping but all the rear tires on my ST do consistently show more wear on the left side.  The shop manager at my brother's dealership believes it is because (at least on the ST) I have a strange way of sitting with my butt to the extreme left of the seat.  He is serious.  I don't buy it    but it's a thought

Wear on the right side for me; we ride on the left down here and the road bias is to the high centre (right).

Hi Oil Change,

I had cupping on my last front tyre, but it did not appear to be different on one side or the other.  By reading this forum I increased my cold front tyre pressure to 39psi (from the recommended 36psi) and so fare, about 4,000, no sign of cupping.
