How to check for DTCs?

Elsewhere here it says to press and hold the Scroll Up and Select buttons at the same time while switching On the ignition switch. But if there are no diagnostic trouble codes, what will be displayed?

I believe that if there are no DTC's stored in the memory then the display should read "0000"

Nope.  I repeated the procedure several times to check for any history codes, expecting "none" to be found, but I saw nothing other than the normal startup messages for the TES/TTC calibration/adjustments.  I pressed the SCROLL UP and SELECT buttons at the same time while turning ON the ignition switch as you instructed.

Sorry - I can't really help any further - the Info on how to access the DTC's was provided by another Member,
and it has worked for other Members, who have also reported getting "0000" when there are no DTC's stored.
