TomTom rider 2 probs.
« on: September 16, 2015, 09:33:59 pm »
Purchased & downloaded maps for East Europe. All OK.
Returned home after hols & restored Western Europe maps to device.
Now the TomTom cannot find a GPS signal.

Done everything on the TomTom website and it would seem my device is not looking
for a GPS signal.

TomTom website say's "There maybe a problem with your device".  :187:

And your device is no longer supported on help lines.  :114:

All it does is start up....shuts down......start up....shut down.

There is no little place on the device to do a reset with a paper clip. :013:

Help !! :183:

I don't own a Tom Tom, but the procedure for a Hard reset
is to press and hold  the Power button down ( for up to 30 seconds ! )
until you hear the drum sound when the device will restart.

Might be worth a try  :028:
