Nice article but judging from my experience on my ST the positions of Metzler and Michelin should be switched, ie Michelin first, Metzler second

Ya, could be. Using 6 identical bikes on the same road at the same time with 6 different brands seems like a rather comprehensive test though. But we all vote with our own hard earned cash. Good to be informed.

I don't think you can beat Michelin's on any vehicle.  I use them on my Dodge Dually, my wife's Jeep, the Corvette and all my motorcycles except the Gold Wing.  They didn't make a tire with the weight capacity to use on that.  I even used the Macadam on my Harley.
