France 2015

First 15 days of September in France. Travelled down the west side. Spent two nights in Grenoble a place with lots to see. Finally arrived Marseilles for two nights. My only knowledge of this city has come from French Connection 2. I was pleasantly surprised. Stayed in the old part of the city which is buzzing at night and walked miles on day 2 to see the sight. Finally headed North with a two night stay on Orleans (Joan of Arc) where on Sunday we wandered into the spectacular Cathedral and stayed to watch a three hour induction of two new priests. The Trophy was excellent and proved its worth on the final ride to Calais when the heavens opened up and the wind almost took us off the bikes. Got to say a good word for Rukka on that day to as I stayed fairly dry despite the weather.Depressed now as the UK winter is on the way.
