    Hi speedydeano,

Bluetooth connections can be frustrating and can work, or not work - depending on individual devices,
but here's a couple of things to check and try :

Always connect your Headset ( Scala ) as "HEADSET 1"

Connect any other Bluetooth device ( such as your Phone ) as "DEVICE 2"

Note that the "1" and "2" above refer to the 2 available Bluetooth channels on the Trophy,
i.e. there is no "HEADSET 2" or "DEVICE 1" !

    Re your issues :

    1.  Make sure you have the Audio Output selected as HEADSET and not SPEAKERS -
All audio from the Trophy, including Radio, and NAV instructions if connected to the NAV Audio socket,
should be routed to to the Bluetooth Headet.

Check the documentation for the buttons on your Scala - even after successful connection
you may have to press one of the buttons such as the "MM" button before it will accept any incoming audio stream !

    2. You didn't say what make and model of Phone you are using ....
If it is an iPhone then it "should" act like an iPod and you "should" be able to see Playlists etc
on the Trophy Instrument panel screen, but it is possible that later iOS versions ( Version 9 was released recently )
MAY mean that there is a compatibility problem - that is the case on a car I owned  :157: unsure about the Trophy !

If it is NOT an iPhone, then it may need to be switched into a Mass Storage Mode,
for the Trophy system to recognise it as though it were a usb "stick".

The Sony xperia m2i uses it's Sony Walkman software to play music,
so that is most likely the reason it won't work on the Trophy.

It doesn't look like that Phone has Bluetooth for Audio Streaming either ?

What phone does Mrs. speedydeano have ?  :007:

That sounds about right - all Phones with Bluetooth will ( should ? ) have the A2DP Profile
whhich is used to play music, I wasnlt sure your Phone had Bluetooth as it wasn't mentioned
in the Spec's I was reading, but of course you'd already posted that you had Paired it, so it obviously has  :138:

The USB connection won't work if it's not an iPhone, ( which the Trophy audio system IS configured to recognise )
unless there is a way to put the Phone into "Mass Storage Mode" - which would then allow
the Trophy system to "see" it just like it would see a USB Memory stick.

    A iPhone 4 should work fine  :028:

    Cheers,

Have you had the battery disconnected at all ?

The Fuel Gauge bars might not appear straight away after disconnecting the battery,
or after refiling from alomost empty - The Owners Handbook advises :
After refuelling, the fuel gauge and range to empty information
will be updated  only while riding the motorcycle.
Depending on th riding style, updating could take up to five minutes.

Also with regards the Tyre Prressures, these are only activated once the wheels have started turning.

Take her for a ride and see if the Fuel Gauge and Tyre pressures appear  :169:
