No usb random setting?

I was planning on putting my music library on a usb stick and plugging in, but I don't see a " random" option in settings. Without it, the same music sequence will play over and over again. Is there a random setting that I'm missing ?

I think that Triumph intended that we all use an iPOD (or some other music player) which would control the sequencing of songs. You can make things somewhat random by the way you organize songs on your memory stick, but there is no random setting within the Trophy audio system.

Alternatively.... Have different 'mix' sticks for different riding moods!

I put my audio books on a very small USB thumb drive, http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Cruzer-Low-Profile-Drive-SDCZ33-016G-B35/dp/B005FYNSZA . When it's inserted into the USB socket on the Trophy it just barely has any part of the drive visible and takes up no space in the storage box so I can still use the box to store other items.

that was my plan until i found out there no random setting. i put thousands of songs on a stick and want the system to randomly play them. i may still try it, but i don't want the system to start from the beginning each time and they way the  songs are organized, it just works better if their played randomly.

Get a cheap iPod touch off Fleabay.... even one with a broken screen will be fine as long as the music synchs up the bike will play!

That's what I did.  Bought one with a broken screen very cheap and put tape over the screen to hold the glass together.  I did get a soft cover to soften some of the blows when riding.   

Just plug in leave it in the glove box and go.

What GPS unit do you have?  Although I don't use this feature, my Garmin 660  will play MP3 files via a mini SD card.  I can't swear to this but I believe it has a 'Shuffle' setting.
