Found a Great Helmet buy
« on: May 08, 2013, 07:14:38 AM »

The 707 Vendetta is the cheapest best helmet I ever owned.

I was looking at the new GT-Air Shoei cause I like the kind of helmet that has a sunglasses visor inside. I am currently using the HJC IS-16

By Luck, I was looking in the military exchange and they had a 707 Vendetta. Its an off the wall helmet, cheaply made and sold by Cyclegear.com

But let me tell ya, it is quiet, has great air circulation, the shield locks to make the inside really quiet which I would guess would be great for listening to music. And the visibility is like the Shoei GT-Air. It fits me just as comfortably as the Shoei FR 1100

Gezz, why do I bother

Well if it is the crash where the 18 wheeler hits you broadside going 70 miles per hour and fully loaded ....probably because you were drowsy and ran the stop sign...then the 600 dollar helmet is not going to do you well either

If you have a 10 dollar head you should'nt be riding a motorcycle at all....let alone concern yourself with the price of a helmet. You should not even wear a helmet if you are a dickhead either

LOL , Gezz Ndo sometime I wonder why you do as well ...!
In 1978 I was in a nasty bike crash I was wearing at the time the best Bell full coverage helmet money could buy , still have it as a reminder , it was cracked in many places and the abrasions on it are unbelievable but it didn't collapse !
I have the new shoei modular cost me over 600 and I love it and don't begrudge the cost of doing the best to protect my noodle !
After all Ndo in retrospect how much did the bike cost compared to a quality helmet !

Don't take us so seriously.  Just having some fun with the post.   :745:
But as an unfortunate victim of a crash (car driver's fault) in which I lost 3 teeth (only had a 3/4 helmet) and suffered permanent throat scars I can tell you that I was glad the helmet protected whatever it covered.

French company Shark somehow have sold me a blank helmet, cost 450 USD. They thought I was a racer. I am having it done professionally with the same blue as the bike with the Union Jack watermarked in the background and the Triumph slogan GO YOUR OWN WAY on the back. Putting Triumph somewhere on it as the bike hasn't got it.
Go your own way.
