Insurance Quotes for TT
« on: May 08, 2013, 08:53:17 PM »
On one of the forums  there are a lot of us TT owners confessing to be 57 ish or around that age .
My question is has anyone yet had a quote for a 12month insurance quote for a TT SE .I  just paid the extra over and above my old Yamaha Fazer 1000 till mine runs out in Aug .
So good people if you are of that age what figures have any of you been quoted and by who ?( know things like post code /alarms/extras etc  have a small effect ) would be good to have an idea .
thanks in antisipation ,

Off the top of my head I think mine was about £350.

Triumph made a TT600 and calling the Trophy the TT gets confusing for those of us who owned at TT600.  Not to start a ruckus or anything but is it a UK thing to call the Trophy a "TT"?   Wasn't the TT600 marketed in the UK?  Again not to start a ruckus, just curious.

Certainly no apology needed!  Must be I'm just an old timer to remember the TT600.  It was fine bike but it didn't survive that long.  Not sure why.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that my insurance is $520 a year.  That covers collision, personal injury, comprehensive.  Seems a bit high compared to the UK rates.  What do your rates include?
