First Annual Buckeye Triumph Bash
« on: October 26, 2015, 11:16:35 pm »
Just want to announce that the First Annual Buckeye Triumph Bash (aka Hooligans in the Hills) will be held next spring, May 20-22 at Burr Oak State Park near Glouster, Ohio. There will be an opportunity to get together with fellow Triumph enthusiasts and lie about all of your motorcycle exploits. Organized rides and some sort of dinner will be held on Saturday. It's still in the early stages of planning. There will probably be an informal ride on Friday.

If you see this and feel strongly that you may attend please PM me. We soon have to decide how many rooms to reserve for our group at the lodge. Cabins are available too. Here is a link to the facility. http://stayburroak.com/.

Many of you know that the quality and interest of the roads in SE Ohio are second to none. Hope to see you there. Dan
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.

It looks like the venue will change to Salt Fork State Park. The lodge has 110 more rooms and the discount is better!

More details will follow.

I'm in either place.
I think the state parks have a deal for seniors 65 or over, room is 65 bucks.  I qualify.

The rally will be at Salt Fork, I'm just waiting on the room block contract to make further announcements. There will be a discount which can be applied if you want to come down a day earlier or say an extra day. Alan, I didn't see a deep senior discount but if you can get that go for it. Considering how little effort I've put into promoting it the response has been super.
