Getting a custom seat built for the Trophy
« on: November 21, 2015, 02:55:05 am »
http://www.terryscustomseats.com/

Terry lives 60 miles from me and has built seats to my custom specifications on two of my other bikes.  I rode up there today on the Trophy and discussed my wants for a more comfortable seat.  Left him the rider seat and rode back on a 1 inch thick stadium pad.  I was actually more comfortable on that stadium pad than the low rider seat!  With the little storage box and back of the fuel tank under there it was like is nice low bucket seat.

Some of you with shorter legs might look at a way to lower the seat pan on the bike.

Should have it back in a couple weeks.  Will post up some photos and ride impression.

Possibly another good option for those wanting a long distance capable seat.  :028:

Picked up the seat today.  I had it custom built to retain the OEM riding position, but with more support than the OEM provides.  If you want to sit straight up, Terry can make it that way as well.

Here is a good French address for customized high quality stools (three posts because the photos do not pass on a post):
