Greetings to the membership
« on: November 23, 2015, 09:55:15 pm »
Just thought I would introduce myself. I am new to this forum and as of yet do not own a Triumph. I checked in here to get some feedback on possibly purchasing a new Trophy. I have been a rider for 49 years and have owned motorcycles the whole time until now. I have always ridden metric (Japan big four) for all of those years. Last Dec. my garage burned down and along with that my collection of 5 motorcycles. I now have a garage again and it is time to put a motorcycle in it. I have also been considering a BMW but there are no deal there like with the Trophies , about ten thousand dollars difference between the 2 bikes. So it is almost a no brainer. Some of you have helped me in my decision making process with your feedback and I do appreciate that. Anyway hoping to be back among the 2 wheeled crowd real soon, maybe even on a Trophy. Thanks for reading my ramble.

Welcome. Glad to share knowledge with you.
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.

Hi LubeDude,

Sorry to hear about your Garage fire  :012:

Take a Trophy for a Test ride and you'll probably realise that you only need that one bike  :028:

Cheers  :821:
