Center Stand - Issue ?
« on: November 27, 2015, 12:32:51 am »
I've looked around but have not found anything on this topic... not sure if in correct Forum - not really a mechanical issue....

I pick up my TTT (riple) tomorrow and from moving it around the showroom I noticed when retracting the center stand it slams up into a load bang - obviously a spring tension thing

Anyone else have this issue or is this bike specific..

First time I took my TTSE off the center stand I too was a little surprised at how loud it was. Almost like when it retracts the stand slams into something metal rather than something rubber like on most bikes.

They do seem to slam loudly. There are rubber bumpers to soften the blow.

Thank for the insight - I'll have to rig a sort of rubber dampener that's jut silly...
