    Christmas Greetings from Dortmund, Germany

    Hi all,

after weeks of lurking it is high time to say hello and thank you to all of you!

Due to your positive comments I bought my new 2014 Trophy (of course in superfast Pacific Blue) without a test ride. The local Triumph subsidiary offered two Trophys with low mileage for sale, but none of them was available for a test ride ("perhaps next spring" said the keen salesman). The next dealer could not offer a testride, but a new trophy. I checked the sitting position, he explained the bike in detail, and offered a test ride on the Explorer to experience the engine - after the test I signed the contract.

I drove more than 2.500 km so far and I am completely satisfied. The smooth engine, the excellent weather protection - I neglected my R1200GS in the last 8 weeks and used the Trophy.
I bought her for travelling over longer distances, but daily commuting (>100 km per day) is a pleasure, too.

    Have a good trip!
    Michael

Happy to hear you like your bike and a Merry Christmas to you as well.
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.
