    Hello from Broadstairs

Hi everyone, my name is Gus and I pick up my Trophy on Thursday!  I can't wait!  This will be my sixth Triumph, first one bought back in 1990.  I have recently owned the RT1200 which I had for six years.  I did nearly 60,000 miles on it and almost spend the same amount in £'s keeping it on the road!

I test rode the new RT1200 and felt that it wasn't what I was looking for.  The test ride on the Trophy convinced me that this was the bike for me.  I like to travel abroad and have been riding up to Norway and down to Italy and all countries in between.  I'm fortunate to live so conveniently close to Dover and can pop across to France for day trips.  I'm hoping to go to Slovakia via Germany and Poland sometime next year.

I look forward to participating in discussions on here and invite everyone to join me for a virtual drink!

    Cheers, Gus.

Welcome and a virtual cheers to you!

    Enjoy that Trophy!
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.

With 60,000 miles on an RT it will be very interesting to hear your experience with the TTSE.

Only two more sleeps to your TTSE.

    Love, light and peace,

    Dave

Hi Gus and  welcome to the Forum   :400:  the `TT' is a great choice for touring, you will not be disappointed.   Are you picking it up from  `Laguna's,  (Triumph Dealers Ashford )
