    Great day for a ride...

What a beautiful day in NE FLA, 84° F, scattered clouds...  Why take the usual 22 mile direct route home from work when you can leave a little early and take the indirect, meandering 75 mile route instead.  What a great day for a ride!

I'm jealous, here there has been freezing rain, sleet, and wind all day; the power has been off since early morning.  I hate winter in the Midwest!

Hope the thunderstorms don't roll in on you.  It's been pretty wild from Texas all the way east and north.
    Ride safe.

We had a white Xmas and it is still snowing here. But nobody is complaining after such a long drought. I had plenty of riding  here during this time of year in the past several years.

My driveway is now deep snow.

Little over 80 here in Big D Christmas I rode out to west Texas to visit family and hightailed it back to Dallas TX they had the bad weather coming in out west early.  Then the 26th at home I was missed by a EF 4 Tornado by a mile or so some people did not make it a very bad sight.

I got out a couple time between rains this past weekend.  Too bad most of my routes ended at closed roads because of flooding.

I've been riding regularly here in northern Ohio, but it looks like that has come to a screeching halt. Odd to do a 100 mile round trip on Christmas day.
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.
