    Back Rest

Well I got my new back rest from Utopia products on Saturday, (a late Christmas present). I am so excited to get it installed and check it out. Their build quality and materials are top notch. This is my second back rest from them, the first was on my '06 midnight Venture, and it was awesome. This one is of the same build quality. I will upload pics when it's installed.  :001:

Any pictures?  The only one I can find is one of the seat and backrest off of the bike.

I bet that this is built in with one of the seat pads?

I have the heated seat pads, I'd like a backrest but I don't want to lose the genuine seats/heated elements.

I know the link appears incorrect.....the trophy is listed on the same page.

They have an install page and video on the site.  Pretty easy install.  Took me about an hour.  Make sure you have an air stapler to put the seat cover back on.  My $18 harbor freight one worked just fine! :002:

A heated seat would require careful examination of where the pad and wiring are located before the install, but it installs so far forward on the pillion seat that it may not be an issue.  Taking the covering loose enough to see where the heater and wiring is would clear up a fitment issue, or send it to Utopia in the winter and ask them to install it and pay to have it done to make sure there is no issue.  If it can't be installed they will tell you.  I love mine, and I even use the pouch on occasion too, which I saw no use for when I first got it.
