    300 miles in the tank..

First time for me, managed to get over 300 miles out of a tank of gas - 308 miles to be exact, at fill-up.  Indicated 5.7 gallons U.S. used, on the instrument panel.  Refilled with 6.3 gallons U.S. at the pump.  Maybe I should have been a little more nervous.   :001:

If you let it reach 6.0, be ready for :148:

Oh, mostly around 60 to 75 mph, on semi-rural roads - two and four lane, minimal traffic and traffic lights. I had the wind screen extended only a few inches or all the way down at any given time.  All travel was over a three day period.

Usually I fill up at about 250 miles, roughly five gallons, whether I need to or not.  Of course, if I ride with a heavy hand on the throttle or with the wind screen fully extended in rain, my mileage drops.

Yeah, lemuriano, I don't usually let it go that far but all of the numbers seemed to be working out.  Most of the riding was south of your neck of the woods - Green Cove Springs, Palatka, Middleburg and a little bit of Starke thrown in for good measure.  Perhaps you're familiar with the area, US-17, FL-100, FL-21 and US-301?

I hope after mine in broken in I will get better mileage.
43 mpg is what I get normally unless I'm out just getting from point A to point B.

    Thanks 2slowTrophy..

43 miles to U.S. mpg equals 51.64 Imp mpg or 5.47 litres per 100 Km

Just so we know what you and "brenchley" are talking about..

I get around 54 miles per Imperial Gallon on my '12 TTSE, unless I'm on a Motorway

That's the first thing I look for as well. Important in areas of Texas as well as parts of NV.
