Heated grips
« on: January 09, 2016, 10:08:03 pm »
Yesterday had the dealer install heated grips and now I have a question: when turned on, the heated grip display has 2 boxes, I assume one box darkens when on low, while the 2nd box additionally darkens when put on high. Is this how they should work? I only get one box dark whether on high or low settings, and additionally, the level doesn't seem very warm on the higher setting.

Seems like they've wired something incorrectly. Any thoughts here?

Thanks,
Larry

Something doesnt sound right to me, on high I get a temp of 127*F using an IR temp gun. Definitely much warmer than the low setting.

That is not right - see below from the owners manual on how the symbols should be displayed.

Take it back and get them to put it right -
The Dealer should not have released your Trophy back to you
without testing and confirming the system was functioning correctly.

I'd also be asking for something in return for my wasted time and return travelling costs !

Yes, I'm going back next week and have a discussion with the Service Manager.
Thanks for your response.
