2016's are available in the same two colors as last year -- blue and black. They started arriving in dealerships in mid-December. 2017 would be mere speculation.

Not heard anything yet, it is only January ! It wouldn't surprise me if the Pacific Blue is replaced this time round with hopefully a BRG or a red, after all it has been a colour since launch.

I would be more interested to see if they have any major tech updates or styling changes. Its the only thing that would make me consider changing right now.

For 2017, I wouldn't be surprised to see Triumph update the Trophy similarly to the Tiger Explorer (e.g. semi-active suspension, cornering ABS, rider modes, etc.).

What was the thinking behind the colour change?  Just wondering.

I was looking for a non SE Trophy & didn't want all the electric suspension bits, but they stopped manufacturing them in Nov 15 so few & far between. but Jack Lilly came to me with a brand new silver non SE I don't like the silver (my choice) I prefer the blue or black. So secondhand SE is it was going to be as couldn't stretch to a fully loaded new SE or so I thought, dealer came back & said what about if we paint the silver one any colour you want at our cost would you be interested, well who doesn't want a new bike I had my 2004 Sprint ST since new so you know what has happened to it. I jumped at it & chose Caspian blue same as the Sprint & in my humble opinion the prettiest colour Triumph do. I added the extras I wanted & paid less than a new SE without extras, so that's the answer really & it will be different from everyone Else's Trophy & we bikes do like to be a bit individualistic don't we

Sounds like you got a great deal and I look forward to seeing it... I too like the Caspian Blue... quite 'electric'!
