    I use a cable lock I got from Cycle Gear , I also cover it keeps the thieves from making plans.
    You will never stop someone that wants your bike but it will slow them down.
    I have been told that those bikes with all the luggage are not what thieves are looking for , with the Trophy coming in at 663 lbs they just can't pick it up and leave.

    it was intended as a friendly reminder to lock your bike. in regard to earthman's theft aspect
    even if the trophy is not on top of list to get stolen don't make it easy

    another issue is insurance if we can keep the trophy a low risk,hopefully that would keep the rates low.so a little
    bit of prevention might  save us all some $
