All the best from Hanover, Germany
« on: January 20, 2016, 09:25:58 am »
Hi guys,
since yesterday I'm a proud TT 1215 SE owner.
Unfortunately its snowing all the time, so I have to wait at least 1-2 months till spring.

Its my first super-tourer. Before I have driven several more sporty bikes.
If there are more German TT Drivers I will be glad to get in contact with them.

At the trophy board I will always look for some ideas to modify my bike and I hope I will make a lot of new friends as well!

... With this in mind I remain with cordial salutations.

 :400: to the forum.
This may get you started:
Front and rear mudguard extensions
R&G Adventure bars
R&G (or equivalent) radiator and downpipe guards
Heat - at places on the bike you don't already have it
Top Box - if you don't already have it
Pannier and/or top box liners - if you don't already have them
Extra pannier gear retention straps - I even made my own with my wife's help sewing the ends on
Possibly an aftermarket windshield
Possibly Grip Puppies or Original Grip Buddies
Maybe some R&G bar ends
There are other multiple horn and lighting options - especially lighting if you install the R&G bars
You may want an extra fuse block- either your own or a PDM60 or the like for extra power requirements

I'm sure others here will have some personal preferences I haven't included for you.  If you add everyone's suggestions you will soon realize you have the most farkled, heaviest, fun, home on wheels you ever owned!  :745:

Welcome to the group!

Have a hearty, Bavarian, virtual lager on me!
My mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said "a biker". She said I'd have to choose one or the other.
