Hello From Texas!

I've recently straight-traded a 2014 KTM 1190 ADV for a 2013 TTSE with no regrets. The KTM was a very competent bike but I ride alone, don't off-road, and live in Texas where the roads are long and wide open. I just couldn't "connect" with the KTM and the wind noise was too much for my tinnitus. Wanting to short tour on weekends sealed the deal. I already have a sporty fast bike (Kawasaki ZZ-R1200) that I'll never sell due to it's raucous fun personality. The TTSE seems to be the perfect stablemate and it has surprisingly good handling and comfort. The personality of the bike is something I'm learning to enjoy because it's very willing to do everything. I've trolled this site for a while learning of the TTSE's niggles and nuances and this group's input has been invaluable. Cheers
